As the city itself such an open air museum, it is recommended to stay at least a week to feel the city and visit the historical sites. There are also, however, dozens of exotic, beautiful, and storied places in Turkey worth visiting, and many guests take advantage of pre&post congress tours to visit cities outside Istanbul.

TOUR 12 - TROY & GALLIPOLI (Anzacs) - Private / Long Day or 2 Days Tour

Early morning drive to Gallipoli, famous battlefield, Anzac Cove, War Cemeteries (Beach Cemetery, Quinn’ s Post, The Nek) and the Anzac Memorials (Lone Pine - Australian Memorial, Conk Bayırı - New Zealand Memorial, Hellespont - English Memorial) of the naval battle (18 March 1915) during the World War I.

Ferry across Dardanelles. We’ll see the maquette Trojan Horse used in the famous movie “Troy” before lunch at Çanakkale. Visit to the ancient city of Troy, famous with the legendary Trojan Horse from the times of Beautiful Helen, the Queen of Sparta and Paris, the Trojan Prince.

Dinner on the way and late evening return to İstanbul.

TOUR 13 - CAPPADOCIA - Regular / Daily or 2-3-4 Days Tour

Early morning flight to Kayseri/Nevşehir or night before bus to Ürgüp.

Day 1 Walk through the “Fairy Chimneys” in Devrent Valley, Paşabağ (Monks’) Valley, practice pottery production with the ancient technique in Avanos. Visit to Göreme, the "open-air museum“ holding the earliest churches and chapels carved in fairy chimneys presenting finest examples of frescoes. Uçhisar Castle, the highest point in the region. Dinner at hotel and overnight.

Day 2 Panoramic view of the Hospital Monastery. Walk into the “wonderland” at Kızılçukur (Red Valley) and the village of Çavuşin with rock-cut dwellings. Underground City of Kaymaklı, rock-cut city beneath the earth up to 8-9 levels where early Christians used to hide from Roman and Byzantine persecution. Explore the rock formations in Çatalkaya. A fantastic overview of the fairy chimneys from Esentepe. Pigeon Valley, greatest collection of pigeon nests in the world. Dinner at hotel and overnight.

Day 3 Derinkuyu Underground City, walk through the amazing Ihlara Valley. Lunch at Belisırma.Visit to the monasteries at Yaprakhisar and Selime. Dinner at hotel and overnight.

Day 4 Mustafa Paşa which inhabited Greek Orthodox families until the beginning of the 20th century. Walk through Damsa Lake. Visit to Keşlik, Archangelos Monastery with a church hall. After lunch, visit to Soğanlı. Possibility to watch local women baking bread. Drive to Taşkınpaşa for a wonderful panoramic view and Cemil where you‘ ll see a famous Greek church. Early morning flight to İzmir or night before bus to Kuşadası and drive to Pamukkale (Cotton Castle), a beautiful and spectacular natural site near Denizli, unique in the world. Thermal spring waters have carved this fantastic formation of stalactites. Thermal waters have been used since Roman times for their therapeutic powers. Situated on the plateau are both the thermal center with its motels, thermal pools and ruins of the ancient city of Hierapolis. Monument on this site includes the ancient thermal baths which have been restored and converted into an archaeological museum.

TOUR 18 - SEVEN CHURCHES OF REVELATION - Private / 3 Days Tour

Early Christianity took shape and was spread in Anatolia. Thus, a journey through this part of the world has something of the quality of a pilgrimage, both a physical and a spiritual search for the origins and realities of one’ s faith.

Early morning flight to Smyrna (İzmir) or night before bus to Kuşadası.

Day 1 Meet and continue to Ephesos (Efes), visit the old Greco-Roman city of Ephesus, most important of the “Seven Churches of Revelation” in Asia Minor where St. John brought Mary in fulfillment of his pledge to Jesus to protect her, and last abode of Virgin Mary at Mount Solmissos where she is believed to have taken into heaven.

After lunch, continue to Laodicea (Denizli), a crossroads of the ancient world. Dinner at hotel and overnight in Pamukkale (Hierapolis).

Day 2 Departure after breakfast and visit the ancient city of Hierapolis, home of Philip the Evangelist. Proceed to Philadelphia (Alaşehir), the youngest of the Seven Churches of Revelation, visiting the still standing remains of an early church and the city walls. Lunch on the way.

Afternoon visit to the ruins of the church at Sardis (Salihli), the ancient Lydian capital holding an important place in mythology.

Evening arrival at Thyatira (Akhisar), one of the principal towns where Christianity was spread from and visit the ruins of the church.

Late evening drive to Pergamon. Dinner at hotel and overnight in Pergamum.

Day 3 Departure after breakfast and visit Pergamon (Bergama), the place where St. John wrote to the church of Pergamon “Satan’ s throne is sited”. The impressive structures dating back to 339 BC.

Pergamon was a health center where methods of treatment such as therapy with music and water, meditation and blood transfusion were first used.

After lunch, drive to Smyrna (İzmir), recipient of a letter from St. Paul praising the early believers for their faithfulness. Visit to St. Polycarp Church. After a short city tour, evening flight or night bus from İzmir to İstanbul.
