Technical Tour – 1
Beykoz is one of the main agricultral areas of the city, it is very interesting to have such a district in a big metropolis like Istanbul.
Tour will start from the Istanbul Congress Center and first stop will be the huge facility and unique laboratory of our Platinum Sponsor Balparmak. Balparmak has been delivering healthy, natural and delicious honey to consumers since it was founded in 1980. As the honey sector’s leading company, Balparmak differentiates itself through the standard of quality that it brings to consumers. Balparmak rigorously tests all products offered to consumers, analyzing a total of 122 parameters at the Balparmak Analysis Laboratory (APİLAB). Today, it is Turkey’s only, and one of Europe’s most comprehensive bee product-specific laboratories.
After the facility visit and the lunch, Honey Forest of Beykoz will be visited where the local beekeepers and apiaries of Istanbul will be able to be observed. In this area Turkish Beekeeping Association will establish a “Turkish Apiary” that the participants will be able to see different types of bee breeds of the country.
After the Apiary there will be an optional visit to the Honey Festival which will be organised in Kucuksu-Bosphorus by the Istanbul Municipality. Participants are free to spend 1 hour in the festival area or directly go to Istanbul Congress Center.
Tour will be organised on August 28th, 2022 and the price is 40.-Euro including VAT, registration is available on the congress online system.

Tour will start from the Istanbul Congress Center and first stop will be the 10.500 sqm facility of Bee’o Propolis / Bee&You company which is Turkey's largest producer of propolis, royal jelly, pollen, bee bread, bee venom, raw honey with 5000 contracted beekeepers, 550,000 beehives all around Turkey.

The only difference between the two tours is the facility that will be visited, in Tour-1 it will be Balparmak and in Tour-2 it will be Bee’o Propolis / Bee&You.
